Natural History Network was incorporated in 2007 by a group of educators, researchers, and writers who are passionate about the importance of natural history and natural history education in the development of healthy people, vibrant human communities, and integrated learning institutions.



Our mission is to promote the value of natural history by discussing and disseminating ideas and techniques on its successful practice to educators, scientists, artists, writers, the media, and the public at large.

Eventually, we will be hosting a full array of resources on this web site. Our first project is the creation of a new periodical--the on-line, peer-reviewed Journal of Natural History Education Please check it out,and consider contributing an article.
